This policy explains what Treasure Coasts Local Current collects and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Visitors: we don't require accounts and don't ask the public for personal information. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (for example, Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and clicks. This does not use cookies to track you across sites.
- Location (food trucks only): if a truck owner taps "Use my location" on their private update link, their device shares its GPS coordinates with their permission so we can show where the truck is parked. This is the truck's choice each time; the public is never asked for location.
- Businesses: contact details and the information you ask us to publish on your page.
How we use it
To operate and improve the directory, display business pages, show food-truck locations, and understand which listings are useful. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting and (optionally) privacy-friendly analytics.
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles shown on map pages.
- Google Fonts — typefaces.
- Google Maps — opens only when you tap "Directions" (you leave our site).
These providers process requests under their own privacy policies.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking cookies and does not use localStorage to profile you.
Your choices
You can decline the location prompt on the truck update page and still use it (just tap the map instead). To request removal of a business listing or correction of information, contact us.
